Hand-finished bronzed resin statue, crafted with attention to every tiny detail. "The Kiss" is one of the most famous works of art by sculptor Auguste Rodin, created in 1882. It depicts the embrace of the pair Paolo and Francesca, as recounted by Dante Alighieri in the fifth canto of the Inferno. The kiss is never completed, as the couple was killed by Francesca's husband, and for this reason, they must remain forever in this eternal, kissless embrace.
