Hand-finished, bronzed resin statue crafted in every small detail. The Winged Victory of Samothrace (commonly known as the Nike of Samothrace) is a Hellenistic marble sculpture, dating to roughly the 2nd century BC, which is currently on display at the Louvre in Paris. It is one of the world's most famous statues, created in honor of the goddess of victory and to commemorate a naval battle. Its creator is unknown, as is the specific battle it commemorates.
