Bronze-plated Atlas statue

The Atlas statue depicts the Titan holding up the sky in a bronze-coated finish, 23 cm tall.

Bronze-coated resin statue, handcrafted in every detail. Atlas was a legendary Titan who led the Titans' battle against Zeus, which lasted ten years. Eventually, Atlas was defeated, and as punishment, he was forced to hold up the heavens. Hercules needed the golden apples from Atlas's daughters, the Pleiades, and asked for help. Atlas had Hercules hold the sky while he went to find his daughters. When Atlas returned, he did not want to hold the sky again. Hercules tricked Atlas into taking the sky back by asking him to hold it while he adjusted the burden. In Roman mythology, Atlas carried Medusa's head in a bag. Atlas took it out, accidentally looked at it, and turned into stone.
