Concorde metal airplane model – aviation icon – This metal model of the Concorde, the legendary supersonic aircraft, makes a perfect gift for the avid aviation enthusiast. The Concorde jet airliner is considered by many to be an icon of aviation. It broke speed records: it flew from London Heathrow to New York JFK in 2 hours, 52 minutes, and 59 seconds, and circled the world in less than 33 hours (including stops). The Concorde was considered a prestigious means of transport for the wealthiest, although thanks to charter flights, middle-class customers could also afford a trip. Following the crash of Flight 4590 on July 25, 2000, and financial difficulties, the Concorde was retired in 2003. This modern, minimalist Concorde model would make a great gift for an aviation enthusiast. Product information: Material: aluminum Dimensions: 31 x 12 x 13 cm Color: silver Elegant, silver stand
