What "slightly weighted" means
Some prefer heavy, lead-weighted tournament pieces, while others find them tiresome during longer games. Slight weighting falls between the two: it provides a noticeable weight, yet the pieces remain easy to move. If you are unsure which one you would prefer, this is the safe choice.
The widest base
A 3.5 cm base diameter for a 9 cm height - this ratio is exceptionally stable, with a low center of gravity. Where children are playing or there is movement at the table, this matters.
