Gulliver and Lilliput gilded chess set

Unique chess set, made of bronze using the lost-wax casting process, finished with genuine 24-karat gold, with a Made in Italy certificate. Each piece is marked with the sculptor’s signature. The chessboard is made of onyx and bronze, with a bronze and genuine gold frame. Gulliver is the fictional protagonist of J. Swift's famous fantastical-philosophical-satirical novel, "Gulliver's Travels": on his first voyage, he ends up in Lilliput, an imaginary country whose inhabitants were fifteen centimeters tall.
