Large Oriental chess pieces with Eastern-style figures, without a board.
Oriental-patterned chess set made of solid brass and wood, handcrafted, with a Made in Italy certificate. The king is 10 cm tall with a diameter of 2.9 cm. Without a board.
Ten centimeters - and what it means on the board
The 10 cm king belongs to the large sets. For a piece this size, you need a board of at least 45-50 cm, otherwise, the position will feel crowded. In return, it has a weight and presence that cannot be achieved with smaller figures.
Brass and wood
The solid brass provides the weight, while the wood offers the grip and a warm tone. Due to the manual craftsmanship, there may be slight variations between the pieces.
King: 10 cm tall, Ø 2.9 cm
