The Leonidas statue depicts the Spartan king with a sword and shield, in a bronze-plated finish.
Bronze-plated resin statue, hand-finished in every detail. Leonidas (meaning "son of the lion") was a Spartan Greek warrior. He is best remembered for his participation in the Second Persian War, where he led a Greek army against the Persian forces in a last stand defending the pass at the Battle of Thermopylae. He is also famous as the leader of the brave 300 Spartans. He fell during the battle along with his comrades.
