Hand-crafted, highly detailed bronze-plated resin statue. Leonidas (meaning "son of the lion") was a heroic Greek warrior from Sparta. He is best remembered for his participation in the Second Persian War, where he led a Greek army against the Persian forces at the Battle of Thermopylae in the final defense of the pass. He is also famous as the leader of the brave 300 Spartans. He fell in the same battle alongside his comrades.
