Oceanus bronze-plated statue

Hand-finished, bronzed resin statue, crafted with attention to every tiny detail. Oceanus was a Titan and Greek deity, son of Uranus (personification of the sky) and Gaia (personification of the earth), and together with his sister Tethys, the father of the ocean nymphs, who were named Oceanids after him. Oceanus embodies all the streams, seas, and rivers of the planet. Many statues erected in his honor can be admired, including the "Mouth of Truth" at the Santa Maria in Cosmedin church in Rome, as well as at the Trevi Fountain, where Oceanus is depicted accompanied by sea horses and tritons.
