Hand-crafted, bronze-finished resin statue detailed in every small aspect. Saint George (280-303 AD) was a Christian martyr from Cappadocia. According to legend, through the power of his faith in God and Jesus, he saved the people of the Libyan city of Silene from a giant demonic dragon living in a vast lake. In this sculpture - a scene captured by many famous artists such as Raphael, Tintoretto, and Paolo Uccello - Saint George is depicted at the very moment he slays the dragon with his halberd.
