Hand-crafted bronzed resin statue, detailed in every small aspect. Saint George (280–303 AD) was a Christian martyr saint from Cappadocia. According to legend, through the power of his faith in God and Jesus, he saved the people of the Libyan city of Silene from a giant demonic dragon living in a massive lake. On this statue—which has been depicted by many famous artists such as Raphael, Tintoretto, and Paolo Uccello—Saint George is shown at the very moment he kills the dragon with his halberd.
