Bronze-plated Viking warrior on a drakkar statue

Hand-crafted, bronze-finished resin statue, worked in every fine detail. The Vikings were 9th-century Norse warriors from the lands of Scandinavia, Denmark, and Northern Germany, who ravaged the northern seas of Europe in their characteristic ships called "drakkars," and even reached the shores of ancient America. In their iconic horned helmets, swords held high, they sailed between the "fjords" (bays carved by glaciers) to conquer and pillage new places, including the Shetland Islands, the Orkney Islands, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, and Greenland. They also reached southern territories, as far as the coasts of North Africa.
