Bronze-plated Zeus with lightning bolt statue

Bronze-plated resin statue, hand-finished in every detail. Zeus was born in secret on Crete and raised by the Oceanid Metis to hide him from his father, Cronus, who would have devoured Zeus to ensure his own position as god of the sky. Zeus later overthrew Cronus's rule and divided the universe with his brothers. Zeus received the heavens and the earth and ruled over them, carrying a thunderbolt as his weapon. As the lord of the sky and god of the weather, Zeus was considered the most powerful supreme ruler over all gods and men.
